We have purchased many brand new builds over the years. There will always be things needed to be fixed post move in. We understand that. We had some issues with trade work post move in. These items did resolve. We have had a great experience since working with Jorge during our 1 year warranty phase. We love the Dominic floorplan! It is perfect for us. Definitely a case of buyer beware!!! We purchased a home in West Park Estates in QC, AZ and have had so much trouble with the warranty items after closing. We had items identified on our final walk through that were not addresses prior to closing as well as the 30 day walk through items that we have been waiting almost 8 months to have repaired. As a previous customer, I regret my decision to work with Richmond American. Their contracts are designed to shield them from the legal consequences of actions that would likely be considered fraudulent in any other industry. My interactions with the sales and construction side proved this company to be either dishoenst, not competent, or both. Despite escalating issues to higher management, there was no improvement.
