RecommendedStopped in for the first time today for a long overdue exam and new glasses/contacts. Jason and Dr Jeff Kenyon got me squared away in short order. All the staff I dealt with were great!
If anyone is looking for an awesome place to take their kids for vision.... This is THE place. I don't mention names, (you can PM me if you want to discuss it) but we went somewhere else closer after coming here initially and they told us we needed intensive eye therapy (none of which was covered by insurance). My regular Optomitrist's office was vandelized during the protests and were not able to provide treatment for my emergent eye care situation. She recocmmneded that I contact West MIchigan Eyecare Associates for emergency care. Not only did they offer care and support out of respect for my optomitrist, they were TOP NOTCH in their treatment and practice of sasfe conditions During this pandemic!!! I can'r say enough about thier professionalism in both treatment and policies!! 5 stars !!!!!
I got my first eye exam a few weeks before the stay at home order. As a first time contact user I needed a contact class and tutorial, but that was postponed due to covid19. WMEA worked with me and did a telahealth contact class where I successfully learned how to insert contacts for the first time. I am so thankful in this crazy time WMEA took the time to care about me and my Eyecare needs. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately I missed two appointments bc life is busy with a baby and being a single mom. To my surprise west Michigan eye care will never allow me to reschedule or become a patient! This policy is ludicrous. I have never been treated this way by any doctors practice. Don’t go here.
WMEA has been one of the most disappointing experiences. I had an eye exam last year with Dr. Kenyon and was provided a bill upon leaving. The next month I received a new bill and noticed WMEA had changed and increased the bill they sent to my insurance. I reached out to WMEA and waited weeks for Dr. Kenyon to return the call. She said she had no idea what I was billed, but she would look into it… I NEVER heard from her or the office again, yet they continued to send me the altered (increased) invoice with late charges. Dr Kenyon and Shasta are exceptional with working with my Autistic daughter - very caring and it was very impressive how they took the extra time to explain in detail every little thing they did prior to doing so. Christina was so sweet in helping my daughter pick out her new glasses. Overall very professional 👍
