Just before taking a trailblazer for a test drive the check engine light came on, the dash read "stop engine" and the oil gauge went to zero. The sales rep said it's just a sensor and got out and checked the oil level. I was told the oil is good and to push the i button so the stop engine will disappear and continue with the test drive. After the drive, I was told the mechanic wouldn't come look at it because he already inspected it and it's just the sensor and I was fine to drive it. Maam,We inspect every vehicle we sell, and the vehicle you purchased was inspected and serviced. We had the vehicle priced at $6400 plus doc fee, tax and plates. At the time of the test drive, when the light came on, we were going to diagnose and repair the issue, however you elected to take the vehicle at the reduced price in lieu of any repairs, which is why you paid $6500 out the door. Id like to first of state I know how promotions work and they were trying to get people to come in and looking at cars. They were running a promotion that had a chance to win cash. The photos I have show that I should have won $5000 and also based on the terms and conditions in the flier. Once trying to claim the prize they disclosed there was another caveat on why I didnt win. To me this is false advertisement. If they are dishonest about their promotions then they are likely dishonest about the dealings they have.
