I had a bad experience with one of the practice's clinicians Dr. Redus. There were issues with my wait time for test results - over 8 weeks, cancelling a scheduled appointment with less than 24 hours notice, arguing with me during a review session, refusing to connect me with the facility's director regarding my concerns and more. Poor clinician communication, very long (over 8 weeks) wait for results, cancelling a scheduled appointment less than 24 hours before appointment was to occur, arguing with me during a feedback session, refusing to allow me speak directly with the facility's director regarding my concerns... these are some of the things I experienced with this group. Considering this practice is supposedly dedicated to emotional well-being, this behavior goes well beyond inappropriate. My advice? Stay away!
West Houston Psychology guided me through the process of getting diagnosed with Autism. They were very caring and understanding and I have continued therapy with Dr. Casey Redus. She has made an incredible difference in my life and I feel she is a particularly good fit for me as she understands my conditions. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Redus!
I must admit I was skeptical about the idea of seeing a therapist because growing up, therapy was frowned upon and meant you were either crazy or weak. However, after my first session with Dr Casey Redus, it was like weight lifted off of my shoulders, because finally I could talk about my issues/trauma without feeling judged. Dr Redus provided healthy feedback and the tools I needed to navigate through my issues. She helped change my initial perspective about therapy. I now realize it is ok to get help.
Dr. Casey Redus is an exceptional therapist who has made a profound difference in my life. She creates a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where I always feel heard and understood. Her ability to combine deep professional expertise with genuine compassion is truly remarkable. Dr. Redus helps guide meaningful insight and real growth, offering practical tools that I can apply in everyday life.
