Slum Lord Zone with the added bonus of criminal neighbors. One of which is this girl down on the far end that is known for drug use and violent behavior. Even after being arrested several times management still lets her stay there. She's drug skinny and has been seen meeting people in the parking lot in the middle of the night. She can't supervise either her kid or her dog. The dog runs loose and the kid screams bloody murder outside all the time, which causes her mother to scream right back. West Hills Apartments are really good apartments yes they are older they are doing their best to Update them.i have almost lived herea year, and I have met some really cool people, and met ones that cause a lot of drama for others and management, those people are trash nothing but mean unhappy people that wanna cause problems. Apartments From Hell - Since the new managers took over everything good that was done has now been undone. They will let anyone move in to make a profit now. The new managers do nothing and seem to be inexperienced. The police are there so often that they keep saying they're tired of coming. Fights, drugs and drunks, car thefts, children running rampant with foul mouths and peeking in windows, just about anything you can think of is allowed to go on there now. 8=This place last year was a wonderful, peaceful and great place. The old manager tricia handled everything well.. they suddenly hired on a managment agency to work on filling the apartments. Now they filled it up with druggies, pot dealers, and kids that run loose and harass other kids. This place is like a high school with all the drama, rumors, lies and along with that the worst people.

I have lived on site for four years and I have witnessed this place transition into a wonderful place to live. A few years ago when the apartments were managed by Taylor Real Estate they allowed basically anyone move it. They didn't screen the applicants and as a result crime became an issue. The apartments themselves are unique and the grounds are breath taking but because of negligent tenants the complex's reputation suffered. When my family moved it, the apartment we were supposed to move into was infested with cockroaches and we were forced to live crammed into a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 months while they tried to get rid of them. then they moved us into an apartment that had previously had the ceiling fall in from rain in the bedrooms. Terrible place to live. Get worse than what you pay for, and it is already cheap (but price increases have been happening lately). Neighbors are very noisy, with the bass being played through the midnight hour. Neighbors also seem to get frequent visits from the Salem police. Residents do not feel safe in some areas of the complex.
