Edit: it's now Thursday (2 work weeks from initial notice, not counting holiday season) and they had someone come out here. I changed my rating from 1 star to 2 stars because there doesn't seem to be mold growth in the one wall that was sampled. There is a water collection on the inside of the window for our bedroom (the other room is fine), so maybe the humidity was just high enough there for rapid mold growth? We've never had this issue. Construction and property management were unfriendly and rude. Tenants seem to keep to themselves. Great area but I would not recommend renting an apartment here solely on the treatment and Ruby behavior from property Management and maintenance/construction
They insisted that I had to make 2.5 more than the actual rent (rent was 925.00 for a one bedroom - extremely high for only 500ft). I told the manager that I made 43,000 last year (do the math), yet he still said, “it doesn’t hit our requirements “. Smh, lol.
Lived in this unit for five years, never had routine inspections. Sinkhole with leak was underneath the unit; entire rooms absolutely covered in irreversible black toxic mold. Had to move out to become healthy again (bronchial sickness and full body infections constantly from decrepit property damage). Had to take landlord to court over multiple violations. Do not recommend. Location is not worth health risk and complete lack of care for an aging building (on top two-foot high swaths of black mold: wasps, rats, termites, ant... read more
