The doctors and most of the staff have been fine in my experience. However, on my last visit, my lab work was sent to the affiliated hospital for processing instead of my insurance's preferred lab. Sending to the preferred lab is the same arrangement we've used for over a decade without me needing to request otherwise. I was later billed several hundred dollars for the lab work. I had a first-time annual physical visit with Dr. Scott Gaertner. During the visit, he asked me if I'm taking any medication. I told him "yes, I'm taking Claritin because I have seasonal allergy due to oak pollen". He asked me if I need any prescription. I said "it's fine, I've been like this for many years, and Claritin works for me." A couple of weeks later, I received a surprising bill of 3-digit amount. First of all, let me start by saying that Dr. Fagerberg seemed like a good person. I went in to establish with her as a new patient as we had just moved. She seemed nice and caring and empathetic...until I got a bill from them saying that my new patient visit was considered a specialty visit and was charged a few hundred dollars more as a result. Worst clinic / staff I have ever encountered. I have never written a review for any establishment before in my life, but I had to with this location. Absolutely absurd and insane how staff is organized - not a single honest person who works here. STRONGLY ADVISE ELSEWHERE
