I was so relieved to learn in today’s Pensacola News Journal that individuals under the age of 65 with pre-existing conditions could get a note from their primary care physician and receive the vaccine at Publix or Walmart. I am disheartened to say that my relief was short lived. I called my primary care physician at West Florida Medical Group and was informed that the physicians within the practice had “decided as a group to not issue any notes for their patients with preexisting conditions."
