I want to start off with saying that I really like my Doctor and NP here and that is why I haven't decided to switch doctors. However, their front desk staff is a nightmare to work with. They will hang up on you when they don't agree with what you are asking for. They will fake transfer you to people. So be prepared to have a thick skin with the NON MEDICAL staff - if you stick with it you will get good care from the actual medical team. The office manager, Lety J (she refused to tell me her last name) illegally discriminated against my husband based on his disability. He came with me to my appointment and brought his medical alert service dog. Lety told us that he had to leave because we didn’t have the dog’s service vest. We explained to her that per the ADA the vest is not required. I am pregnant with my first baby and I have never felt more uncared for in my life since seeing West Coast. They seem to not care about your needs or empathize with you at all. I am battling anxiety and depression early in my pregnancy and they told me since I don’t want to be on medication they can’t help me (when stress is one of the leading causes of preterm birth/ Preeclampsia/ Etc - they didn’t seem to care at all. If I could give a zero I would , I had called them weeks ago before calling again today tricare had approved my referral and they’ve asked me to do it again so we had triage send out another which they said to call back in 2 hrs well we called back 3 times all 3times were put on hold than hung up on will not be recommending to any family and friends

ABSOLUTELY INCOMPETENT REFERRAL DEPARTMENT. Huge loss of money because of it. Beware!! As another reviewer stated below, WCOBYN outsources almost everything. Having GD I was referred by a person named Cynthia to an outside perinatology facility. Turns out that place was out-of-network with my insurance. When I got the bill I confronted WCOBGYN/Cynthia who reassured me that it was in-network. After taking matters into my own hands and asking insurance, it had confirmed to be out-of-network.
