I would recommend avoiding this company. I have a cancer illness policy that I purchased and paid on for almost 30 years. I filed a claim for pancreatic cancer using the Protective Life claim form and billing statements from the physician and hospital. Both the physician statement and billing forms clearly state that my covered family member was diagnosed and treated for cancer. They denied the claim and refused to acknowledge her cancer diagnosis.
