Dr. Yao Wang and his lovely staff were so wonderful that I just had to leave a review. It’s rare nowadays, especially with younger doctors to find doctors who genuinely care and listen to what you say but Dr. Wang is the exception and he was really awesome. I had gone to New West Eye Doctors prior and didn’t care for it, my appointment was rushed and the staff weren’t overly friendly (they were fine tho) and the testing didn’t feel as thorough so I was really pleasantly surprised with my visit there. Very professional people, excellent at what they do. I was treated very well, given explicit instructions and advice, had all my questions expertly answered, and they are very good at keeping appointment times with no or less than 5 minute waits. And the end result was amazing!

My experience was excellent . Staff are courteous and were eager to help. The process from initial contact starts with a methodical evaluation of my eyes. The technician after evaluation explained all my options with a concern to give me the best results. The fee is very fair and clear. Dr Paul Denton did my surgery and is A+ in his experience and performance. Like clockwork. The lens that was recommended and got is so clear view that actually made me a much happier person. Had both eyes done for cataract surgery . When I phoned to say one eye was blurry the receptionist would NOT book an appointment. I was TOLD to go see an optician . I would not recommend d Dr WANGS office .As of changes implemented in British Columbia in June 2023, the strict 6-month re-referral rule for specialists has been removed, meaning your first referral can be used for ongoing care without needing a new one every six months,
