I would wager that not a horn blower for Social security. I bet they are the social security and I don't think since the day hospice was born . Social security has not missed a single death. moments after the death of a parent the social security removed the check from there account but if the parent has lived to the 15th they could not have sucked it back they the parent passed on the 12th a horn blower may have taken some time. but almost instantly sucking back that check makes me believe they are the social security depar... read more
Best team around! From the nurses, respiratory therapists, doctors and rest of their team, everyone worked together to help my husband (40 yrs) while he was on hospice for a couple years. They were by my side till the end and were so supportive & knowledgeable. I wouldn’t have been able to keep my husband at home without their help. Thank you from our family for everything you did for us.
Our experience with Hospice of the Valley was nothing less than extraordinary. I've never encountered such a great group of caring and professional human beings. Every time we needed them, they were there for us. Every thing we needed was provided, and quickly! Mom's care was the best and I highly recommend Hospice of the Valley for your loved ones.
After all was said and done the hospice team was changed to another hospice and a bed was not yet provided. This social worker Leah told me they would not pick up the bed. While her new hospice team was visiting they attempted to pick up the bed she was in. This would have left her on the floor in the group home. The new hospice team insisted they wait until she got a bed because she had just transferred service the day before. This hospice team is great but only if you die in two weeks. They discharged my grandmother due to her gaining weight but only weighed her once. The other weight was taken at the hospital. I don't feel they took the time to have the best judgment on a patient live down if they only saw her 3 weeks.
