This isn’t my regular WHC location, but due to the need for an urgent appointment, I was referred to the Downey office. My morning didn’t start off well because of a scheduling mix-up (not from this location), which landed me in a different location altogether. I'm aware mistakes do happen, and I wasn’t about to give anyone a hard time over it. Impossible to get on the phone to book an appointment. Called 3 separate times trying to make an appointment. Insane wait times.
Nevermind not long before they wouldn’t do anything to help my mystery chronic illness. Suffering from an infection and didnt even bother to run any test. Just wait for weeks until I can see a specialist just for them to bounce me around different specialist. Feels like their goal is just to get the patient out as quickly as possible rather than run test that they can to rule out different things. Healthcare system is awful.
It really depends on who you see here from the doctors but this place actually has more good doctors than other places I’ve been too. Dr Yousif really listens and doesn’t disregard ruling out all possibilities and takes all your symptoms seriously and does what he can to really makes sure you get the proper treatment. The front desk is super accommodating and friendly and does everything they can to help even on their busier days.
