We walked in and were very rudely greeted by an older woman who walked right by us saying “there’s tables in front of you if you want to wait go outside” so we left as well as the people in front of us and the people behind us bc of how rude she was. Yikes
Food was ok at best. Service was decent, in context. But the worst, and I mean the worst of it all was the AI music. It was horrible and at the risk of sounding extreme, there’s no good reason to be listening to AI music when it’s doing so much damage to our communities, and there are so many music artists with original music. We did ask for the music to be changed (it was playing from YouTube) and they did change it and after two songs it went right back to AI.
I've eaten at Werner's plenty of times when I worked downtown with no issues or concerns but today's experience was horrible. The server put the incorrect order in and the cook made another mistake on the remake. They were rationing out ice on this very hot day. This experience was so bad I had to walk out with no food. My lunch time was significantly delayed. Never again!
Visiting Baltimore with 2 friends over the July 4th weekend that had never been before, I wanted to ensure they were treated to great Maryland Blue Crab Cakes. Werner's Diner should be at the top of your list for this! The food is authentic and delicious! The warm friendly staff recommended their famous "Baltimore Skillet" which consisted of a Crab Cake served over scrambled eggs and potatoes to which my friends deeply enjoyed. I placed an order on the app called “Toast” which is the app that it takes you to when you go on Werner’s Diner website. I waited over an hour for my food because it hasn’t been delivered, so I called the restaurant and they are claiming that they never received the order and that they don’t do delivery, pick up only. If they do pickup only, why do they even have the option for delivery???
