I would give my stay 5 stars except for one incident that soured my visit. One morning at 4 AM the nurses marched it, flicked on all the lights, woke me from a sound sleep and announced that they wanted to get my weight. At 4 freeking AM! That has to be the most moronic policy ever. Like how critical is my weight at 4 AM? I basically refused and my reaction must have scared them off but the damage was done and I could not sleep again. Otherwise the staff and the care was beyond outstanding.
This is MY hospital and has been for almost 30 years. I have watched it grow, expand, and become part of Massachusetts General Hospital. Not every hospital is worthy of this privilege. Friendly, hard working staff - why I could go on and on. I know from where I speak having had multiple surgeries and out-patient tests.
