I had an excellent time at Wendego. Melanie and Ray are excellent hosts, and the cabins were clean and inviting. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
Ray and Melanie were great hosts. The cabins were clean, as well as the campsite and bathrooms. Melanie helped us with the fishing license process. We started coming to Wendego when Norm and Flo owned it. We have watched the mismanagement of the camp after Norm and Flo, and before Ray and Melanie bought and began operating it. While no one will replace Norm and Flo, it’s easy to see how much love and care Ray and Melanie have put into it. I highly recommend booking. This is a great place to go if the grid it has wifi it has no electricity though
Very relaxing, clean, hospitable, all the amenities you could ever want or need. The Sauna is my FAV! Thanks for an amazing 2025 season!
Stayed with my fam (wife and 3 kids) over the summer. Absolutely amazing experience. The hosts were so kind and shared use of their kayaks, SUPs, and other stuff! We rented a skiff for the day which was epic. The lake, the privacy, the owners are all beautiful. Highly recommend!! (And from what I understand winter there is pretty fun too)
