The lodge is the perfect place to disconnect from the busy world and reconnect with nature. It was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what i was looking for. What truly made the experience special was Melanie and the wonderful people around her. They were all incredibly welcoming, kind, and genuinely cared about making everyone feel at home.
There’s a certain kind of silence you only find when you’re truly off the grid—the kind that makes you question why you ever thought the constant buzz of the city was necessary. Wendego Lodge is one of those places that forces you to unplug, whether you like it or not. FYI There is no cell service for 50 Km and the lodge has free starlink internet. Two of the kindest welcoming people around! They made sure we had wood for our fire at all times! Beautiful cabin right on the water so your morning view is incredible. Tons of fish in the lake, a sauna to relax in showers and bathrooms available! Super nice to unwind for a couple days we will be back! Thank you Mel and ray!
We spent 4 days at Wendego Resort for a 10 year wedding anniversary with a very large crew and we were all very very happy with our stay! The cabins were cute and clean, the lake was beautiful, and there was tons of space for the kids and dogs to run. 10/10 will definitely be back!
