RecommendedI don't feel like writing all that I want to but the Staff is GREAT ! from the front of the emergency room to the kitchen , ,Doctors ,nurses , breathing tech support just EVERYONE JUST GREAT .THEY MAKE WHAT I'M GOING THROUGH SEEM LESS LONELY AND SCARY .AND FOR THAT I AM SO THANKFUL 🥰
My friend was taken by ambulance with symptoms of a stroke. They wouldn’t allow anyone to advocate for her. She was unable to speak or communicate coherently. They put her in a room did a CT scan and didn’t see anything. They told her to go home. She told the nurse she couldn’t walk so they put her in a wheel chair, rolled her OUTSIDE in the 90+ degree heat and left her on a bench until her family could get to her! Would you want your loved one treated this way?? I’ve told them to seek legal counsel!
yippy might want to check some of your staffs bedside manner. especially for your disabled patients
they always good to me some staff member needs a recheck. but clean. the staff slow. not every one likes Douglas general but my doctor there.

For years, my sister was a patient at Wellstar Douglasville. Her last visit WAS her last visit. She passed away March 13, 2020 in the ICU. The care and attention she received, the support and guidance my family received were unparalleled.

I had visited some of my home health patients before or others but I had never been a patient till Dr. Achecar fixed my raggedy knees. They were so bad he had to take the kneecaps too. Of course they couldn't be done at the same time so as soon as I could talk him into doing the second one, I had it done too. He is wonderful & I would trust him with anything he says I need. Worst hospital in the area I have copd and was treated for that but while waiting in the waiting room I was asked to leave the property do to me not wearing my mask correctly. I had told them I couldn’t breath with it covering my nose but yet I saw 1 nurse not even wearing a mask at all and the security guard wasn’t even wearing a mask when I first him. Will not ever come back to this hospital again and will tell everybody to not go there.
