I've been trying to get an appointment for my Dad, for Parkinson's. I've called every location I can find, multiple times, leaving many messages. I rarely reach a live person. Today, after 12 calls to the same location, and after being told that we wouldn't get an appointment without a faxed referral and prior medical records, I immediately took care of the paperwork. 6 more calls, leaving messages... no response. When Behind on appointments, patients have to wait a long time to be seen by the doctor. In addition I'm not sure what good the MyChart is for sending the doctor follow-up notes and asking questions to the provider when he or she does not read the MyChart notes. I sent a note to the provider immediately following the July 20th office visit and today is August the 11th and I still have no response in the MyChart system.
