Excellent infectious disease doctor – I highly recommend Dr. Sheftel, because he saved my life. Last year, I developed a staph infection (M.R.S.A.--the worst kind) after being operated on for breast cancer. Dr. Sheftel quickly identified the bacteria and put me on an antibiotic to get rid of it. He was friendly and full of compassion during my three week stay in the hospital.
