Great Hospital
As a congenital healthcare patient I waited 17 years since 2006 to 2026 for the hospital to accept congenital paperwork, then between 2017 2023murdison finally puts in the congenital paperwork and the hospital puts congenital on the main board of the hospital. Then 2017 to 2026 repeatedly refusing to call people who are involved in my congenital healthcare with hospital administration to make them aware. Wellstar needs to prioritize better. Patients should not be sitting in the lobby waiting to get called to the back to see the doctor in the ER. Patients whom have breathing issues and heart issues should be seen and not waiting for 12 hours and the only thing that is being check is vitals every 30 minutes. Wow unbelievable
Wellstar MCG is the absolutely worst hospital in Augusta. I have never experienced such an incompetent and rude group of healthcare workers in my life. Go to Doctors where you can get some actual care.
Ever since this facility was taken over by Wellstar it's gone to hell. I get charged twice now for using the same building. Parking is atrocious. And they've added multiple steps to just get to an appt. Check in at the front desk. Check in at the appt office. It's no wonder they want you to get here 20 minutes early. You're still going to be late! People have zero personality. If I didn't have a child that needed to be seen here and his doctor had a different location we certainly would avoid this place!
