I had to leave a review about this place. Most ERs are crowded and have to treat the most serious first, I get it. But common sense is key too since clearly medical judgement is not. After a call to 911 my friend was brought here with complains of intense pain and projectile vomiting. If you know men they have to be near death to ask for help so I already knew this was serious. Josephine was really rude. I didn't like her service at all. She called my mother's last name and I could barely hear her. I stood up and asked her if she had called the right person and with an attitude she said: "Aren't you...?" Overall just unprofessional. Also, a nurse I believe his name was Michael asked my mother for blood samples and urine which he never took with him and they stayed in the room with us until we left. I wish that the closest emergency room to our home was better, but after several less than optimal visits it’s worth driving further to avoid Kennestone. We’ve experienced long waits, frustrating staff interactions, poor doctor care, and terrible backside billing. Maybe if you absolutely can’t make it anywhere else you come here, but we’re done rolling those dice.
