I have to say again Wellstar has the best staff ever!!! My son had surgery today and they took great care of him. I am forever grateful for them.....

I'm not one to rant normally BUT I'll share my little bit. I just left douglas after going in with extreme pain in my head from a mass that they found back in January. I also have a desmoid tumor that goes from the mid. Of my back down to my right ankle. Fear that I have a fracture or worse and in extreme pain, I waited over 3 hrs to be given a hydrocodone pill and sent packing. I don't even care about pain meds! I just want them to tell me what damage is getting worse!!! This hospital is aweful. Thx for nothing
Never had a problem with this hospital. Every employee, no matter their position, have always treated me, family members, or friends with the utmost respect and compassionate kindness. From their emergency room to the visitor desk, everyone has the most uplifting spirit. These people are the best. Two employees especially, Vicky and Marie have always made my mother feel at ease whenever she has to have an outpatient procedure done in the radiation center. In fact that entire department should be complemented.
