My husband came in by ambulance from Westminster, MD after his zero turn mower rolled and pinned him. This was our first experience with this facility and it was flawless. The staff and medical team went above and beyond with compassion and care. Every single interaction that we had was positive. The security staff, the folks manning the information desks, the transport team, the nurses and doctors were all extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful. It took RN Molly almost 2 hours to return with updated news about my pain medication. She complained about being overwhelmed because she had 3 patients and had to handle a phone call. The rest of the staff was on lunch break. So that means that I had to just sit in my room for close to 2 hours in pain, while someone from the staff tries to track her down. I had Tylenol in my bag but no water to drink. And not to mention that I had just underwent surgery. My next dose of medication was also 1 hour and 15 min late.
My father was admitted for about ten days and had the best nurses and nursing assistants we’ve ever had on 4 SW and in the MICU. No complaints there- they were wonderful. When it came time to find a rehab facility, the social workers told me they reached out to every available option, but the only places willing to accept him were three of the worst reviewed. Shout out to the labor and delivery department for being awesome and going above and beyond with being thorough, thoughtful and caring. Was pretty anxious about having a scheduled c section but they made sure everything went very smoothly during surgery, and post opp care was great. The nurses are amazing! Very happy with the care we received.
It’s very troublesome to know that someone as hateful and carries so much vitriolic views is employed by this organization! Mona Stecker being someone that represents your establishment is why any other recommendation must be made to insure public safety!
