Got to the E.R. with my 14 year old at 10.20 a.m. as she has significant blood in her stools and pain in her abdomen. Dr. Informed she needs an M.R.I. and we would be taken for that around 3:00 p.m. We are waiting for the MRI for over 4 hours now as when 3:00 p.m. came they then told us she now be taken after 5:00 p.m. Although the "my wellspan" portal is showing an appointment at 2:50 pm for the MRI. We ate nothing all day!!! This is completely bad medical services!! I'm still sitting here with my daughter livid. She'... read more

I received top notch, timely care during all phases of my ED visit: from registration to nursing, lab & DI services. Kevin Sanders, PA-C is knowledgeable and was thorough in his consideration of my medical problem and treated me with kindness and professionalism. I left feeling much improved. We as a community are lucky to have this local gem with excellent staff.

People are very quick to complain and to criticise care that they feel their was not what they expect. I like to thank people for exceeding expectations and to point this out to their superiors. The carrot works much better than the stick. People need to be told when they do good. Such was the case when I went to Waynesboro Emergency Room 2/23/2024. DO NOT got to Wellspan Emergency room and instead go to UPMC for much better care. After sitting for 6 hours they did little to help me because they were short staffed but charged me $2570 for the visit.

I had a very positive experience with both this office and with Dr. Heck. I was seen almost immediately upon check in and the staff was very pleasant. Dr. Heck was very thorough and professional but also seemed genuine and compassionate. He didn't put me through an unneeded tests but told me that I could come back if and whenever I needed. I appreciated his honesty.

I went to the Shippensburg wellspan urgent care to be seen for back pain. Rachael said she would prescribe a muscle relaxer but it would make me drowsy. I told her my concern that I work overnights and I didn’t want anything to make me drowsy and I asked her if I could take it for a couple days and stop on Sunday when I returned to work. She said yes you can take it for a couple days and see if that helps. Well she never sent it in, put in my notes that I refused the meds. My son was seen at the WellSpan Urgent Care East York location to follow up on a concussion he incurred after an automobile accident. I found Natalie Preston to be very defensive and borderline belligerent to both my son and me. I have never experienced having my concerns (including the request for a simple "doctor's note") held with such high disregard. My experience leaves a stain on the WellSpan name, and I will never leave my health concerns in the hands of Natalie Preston or WellSpan Urgent Care East York.

Well, until after today ... I would HAVE given this Hospital a 4 or 5 star .. BUT NOT AFTER HOW THEY SO RUDELY TREATED ME TODAY ..... IT APPEARS THAT I MAY BE IN A LIFE OR DEATH SITUAITON AND THEY "ALL OF THE SUDDEN" DECIDED TO CHANGE THEIR PROTOCOL ON ME WITHOUT ANY AMPLE FORNWARNING ....... IN THE EVENT T HAT I LIVE THRU THIS SITUATION I WILL BE TAKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THEM .... NOBODY ON THIS EARTH SHOULD EVER BE TREATED THIS POORLY ....... read more

Just the worst doctors office I have ever visited... I grew up with military doctors so my bar is soo low for good organization. Wellspan should just shut this branch down. I have tried to give blood for testing... Cancelled twice.. get vaccinated... They cancelled... Now get the flu shot... Waited 30 minutes and they call the guy that had the appointment after me because we were talking... Just drive somewhere else.
