I just got discharged from this place today, my counselor was Mr. Dan. I did not like him because he would always poke fun of me, and others and always try to make me play games with other peers there. Obviously that’s not a bad thing at all, but you are not there to make friends, you are there to work on yourself. When I was there I was in a huge group of about 21 kids, the usual amount is about 8. They did not help my girlfriend they made it worse she went there for the thing to get away from it just for it to continue there and she does not feel safe and multiple fights have happened while she was there and the teacher Mr.Daniel told her to just suck it up and move on and suck it up your to young and she comes home every day sad and crying because of this man it is a terrible place
If you have $15,000 and are looking to waste it I highly recommend attending Philhaven. While I was there I was advised to stop cutting so I could wear a bathing suit to the beach, was told I was wasting time while having a panic attack, and constantly had staff diminish my problems. Some of the staff are very lovely people, and some should not work around anyone mentally ill. The way I saw staff treat and talk to other patients was egregious. Save your money and find somewhere better.
Couldn't have asked for a better team to help my daughter during a hard time. My daughter made significantly positive changes while attending the outpatient hospital program. I can't thank Phil Haven enough for how much they helped.
