Needed to get a pre-qual from Wells Fargo for a foreclosure, but it wasn't necessary to do financing through them. When I called to get the prequal, the guy explained to me that I would be "wasting his time" if he did the prequal when I knew I might finance elsewhere. I hung up the phone on him in disgust. Don't finance through them.
