Perhaps it is the bad press Wells Fargo has received in 2017 but the process and paperwork that was requested was absurd. NOTE: this was our third primary purchase through Wells Fargo, we were requesting 48% LTV, credit scores over 750, plenty of cash on hand, and steady income. I think it is probably a good idea to steer clear of Wells Fargo until things calm down in their PR department. UPDATE: we are paying cash for the home.
