I was with WF wealth advisors for several years. Im retired and they handled my brokerage accounts. Out of the blue they terminated their advisory services, leaving all the investments they set up in limbo. I had just met with my advisor a few weeks ago. I wrote to the advisor to find out what was going on and he had nothing to offer about why I was terminated, and what to do going forward. Ive been disappointed with all the bad press coming out about WF. So I guess it isnt all that bad that Im forced to go elsewhere.

I had a terrible experience dealing with this bank. I called five times to do an IRA transfer and talked to different people every time. All answered my questions with questions, I had to send forms on several calls causing delays to the transfer. They should have told me all the forms that they need on the first call, they didn't. It was a nightmare! 1 form was never heard of from my recipient bank. Wells Fargo Advisors: If you ever plan on moving your money elsewhere be prepared that they will get nasty, ask you personal questions, be slow to respond. My ****r was done incorrectly which has taken me over a month of emails, phone calls and begging to get an answer a few days before filing taxes ( that I have to pay for) and I will have to file an additional form because they cant complete the change on their end (their error) u til May 5th.Incompetent, unprofessional, and they wonder why people are leaving Wells Fargo t... read more

Terrible customer service. I have been in the legal profession for over 43 years. I was appointed as Personal Representative of an estate. The decedent had securities in an investment account with Wells Fargo Advisors. For almost a year, I have been trying to get those funds transferred to the estate checking account. I have submitted countless documents, numerous times, to no avail. Father passed and had investment account set up in a trust. They have taken so far 4 months to process this transfer. When they have an issue with paperwork they take 20 business days to review an act on new documents. Right now it has been 30 days with no resolution. Do not invest your money here. I have requested to speak to a supervisor 7 times with no call back. Unbelievable terrible customer service.

I've been sending paper after paper to the estate processing trying to get my dad's account in order since his wife passed in July 21 it's now Feb 22 and nothing has been resolved I've been told it'll be 7 to 10 days by them for the longest 7 to 10 days known to man I would ADVISE people to stay away from wells fargo very hard to deal with all around

My dad passed and I started the process of transferring his funds. This started on December 27, 2021. I filled out the forms, got a reply that something was not filled out correctly. I fixed the one box checked and submitted it again. Rep told me it would be done shortly. Two weeks go by and nothing. I call and they say they could not see the notarized stamp clearly. WTF! This has been a horrible experience, my father in law and husband has an account here with 200,000 dollars. My father in law passed in June and we have been trying since then to access this account. No one will call us, we have mail, over nighted. Faxed and emailed the forms around 30 times we call daily on hold for over a hour at a time and then get treated horribly!
