Dr Wells listened to my conserns and discuss different options. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
Discouraged a procedure that I had explored, with a surgeon in Atlanta, in favor of a fundoplication, stating that he was unfamiliar with the alternative surgery. Unwilling to go the fundoplication route, I suffered for another year, then He proudly announced that a novel and promising procedure—the same one I had asked about the previous year— was available from a prominent surgeon in Atlanta. This doctor has a god complex. Following the endoscopy he did on me, he misdiagnosed my cancer and told me it looked like I had been throwing up. He is a terrible doctor.
After speaking to two other gastroenterologists, 3rd time for certain was the charm. I chose Dr. Wells. I underwent a colonoscopy without sedation, by choice. He said he would work with me to keep me comfortable. He and his team absolutely did and talked me through the entire procedure. No pain! They were all perfect! The anesthesiologist who was on stand by, held my hand through it all. A perfectly choreographed event. I’m so grateful to all of them. Highly, highly recommended!
Horrible . The staff sets your appointment time and hour and half PLUS before your procedure which makes no sense! Especially after the day & night you went through before your procedure. The procedure staff is snarky if you inquire about your time being wasted. I have never actually met Dr Rao though I’ve been coming here for years! Rest assured I will not be back to this location or Dr. Dr Rao and other Drs here at Digestive Disease should manage their staff and office procedures BETTER.

Dr. Rao and the entire group of Doctors and staff at this facility is a rare combination of knowledge and compassion as well as respect that is sadly becoming rare for healthcare providers these days. Dr. Rao and his staff always puts me at ease and the care they provide has allowed me to enjoy nearly all the foods I love without discomfort. My digestive system was a mess, but now it's literally a "piece of cake". Thanks for the professional and caring staff, I have one less stressful thing in my life.
