not the best restaurant on Main Street I know some folks in Stone Mountain love Wells Cargo Cafe. I am not one of those people. I recently stopped in for lunch, my first time at Wells Cargo. First of all, the service was horrendous. It simply should not take 15 minutes to bring me water and take my order. The whole experience took over 1.5 hours for basic lunch sandwiches. The food looked AMAZING, as the staff generously offered beer, wine, sodas and water to the Seed & Feed Marching Abominables, following the Mardi Gras parade yesterday. Thank you!!
Great food and great atmosphere. The beer battered shrimp is my absolute favorite...unless it’s pork chop night or fried chicken night. 😀
