Took my 82 yr old mother from Florida here after she took a fall. They told her with her insurance it would be $15 co-pay. After she was home for weeks, she gets an email saying they are charging her card $160 more for a sling they encouraged her to take without them getting a pre-auth from her insurance. She tried to talk to them, but they gave her the run-around. They should have done their job the 1st time around & called her insurance. They knew better, unfortunately we did not. Bad practice!!!
Very positive, professional, yet friendly, warm and welcoming experience starting with a friendly greeting and welcome upon arriving by Keoka, at reception, who also took time to clarify coverage with my insurance company via phone which was greatly appreciated. X-ray technician was professional, compassionate and kind saying “I hope you feel better” which made a world of difference. I went in for an examination of a mole that has became raised and was a concern. The NP at Wellnow removed the surface of it and called it an abrasion. He said it isn't a tick bite. He gave me a instructions on caring for an abrasion. Days later I saw my dermatologist because it was painful. She removed it entirely and sent it out for a pathology examination. My dermatologist said it isn't an abrasion.
Maureen was very pleasant as well as fast and efficient. I was out in no time!
Staff was very friendly and professional. I received good care and although I didn’t have an appointment, I did not wait long to be seen. Overall, a very good experience!
