Dr Ison is absolutely amazing. He listens to me when I become frustrated. And is always willing to make adjustments if needed. He cares about my quality of life. And that is important.
Billing at this practice is highly questionable. They consistently screwed up my child’s insurance and overbilled me. I left the practice because of this. Make sure you keep track. A 5 min check in on med suitability via telephone after an initial visit should not warrant a $130 price tag. Buyer beware.
The billing practices here are awful. They tried to charge me for being in the room with my child who was being evaluated for medication, claiming that I was receiving therapy. It took a ton of arguing with two people there, including the owner, to get it taken off. Even after that, we were charged with codes that didn’t apply. My son was just receiving medication management and was charged for 30 minutes of therapy in addition to that, when his appointments did not last 30 minutes and he wasn’t receiving any therapy.
