About a year ago, this place was great. I went in due to feeling something more than allergies. The woman doctor I saw diagnosed me with a sinus infection at an early stage. I picked up a 7 day run of augmentin. By the end of my treatment I felt amazing. I get this infection almost every year, and know my body when it is MORE than allergies. The Nurse Practitioner that saw my son this morning literally read us the Google AI results and was going to go with what it said until I told her that stuff is unreliable at best and she should use a medical database. She seemed surprised, even said "we can check the database if you'd like" as if it were an afterthought. I cannot believe this place passes that off as medical care. Unbelievable.
Let me start with this......I went to the ER for a severe sinus infection. Had a growth on my orbital bone. Was admitted and spent 1 & 1/2 days in the ER. No food on the 18th. Every doctor that I spoke to told me something different. They finally told me I had to send me for surgery to Roanoke Virginia's Trauma center. My son went here today with a sore throat and fever. Strep test came back negative and when he stressed the extreme pain he was having he was told " well I guess I can look again". He was sent home and told there was nothing they can do. Suggested drink hot tea and use numbing spray. He is currently in the hospital on IV's with a 102 fever. We were told by the ER doctor that strep tests comes up negative for most adults and with the severity of his condition, it was obviously strep throat.
