I have been a patient of Dr Patel's for over 15 years. He is an excellent listener and shows sincere concern for his patients. His staff are caring people that have been with him for years as well. There is consistency in their care without long delays to respond to appointments, managing appointments or after-hour calls. He is one of the very few doctors I consider good - definitely and highly recommended! I wouldn't have enough character spaces to provide examples of his staff and his superb care.

Nurse Kim is extremely knowledgeable ,kind and helpful. Dr Patel is always up on the most current medical treatments. He listens to you and answers all your questions. He is never rushed and makes you feel like family. He definitely has your best interest at heart. My family is so fortunate to have him as our Dr. He truly cares about his patients.

I went to Dr. Lowry for about 2 years as my PCP and was routinely disappointed. The staff is particularly difficult, indifferent even. The phone situation is awful. They use a bad answering service and they leave the phones with the answering service during the day well past the time the service says you can call back and expect to get to the office. I had regular difficulty getting referrals to specialists: the staff would send the wrong paperwork to the wrong specialist. Just bad.
I went to Dr Lowry for a little over ten years. I frequently felt I was getting rushed along. Over the years I felt he wasn't listening to me sometimes. He did not use a computer when interviewing me and only had a two inch stack of my records to refer to. So, usually he asked me the same questions over and over again. He is very conservative when prescribing medications. Finally I had to leave his care. I think it may be time for him to retire.
