Support staff for surgery are terrible. I was scheduled to have surgery today but was told yesterday insurance did not approve. Even though the office had 7 weeks at least to contact my insurance. Not to mention I called weekly to check up on status and could never get in touch with anyone. Yesterday after I was told no surgery for me, I called my insurance and the surgery staff did not contact my insurance until 11/1, which was 1 business day before surgery date. Had an appointment at 1:45p. Waited for 45min in the check-in area. When I checked with the receptionist at 2:30p, she said it was going to be another 15min before I can be seen by the Dr. Ended up cancelling and leaving. Why are you booking ppl for specific times then make them wait a whole hour on top? People have other appointments and commitments to take care of. Steer away from this practice!
They took advantage of my Mom being a foreigner and Elder (Senior) with her 100% coverage insurance having both Medicare & TriCare For Life because when my 78 yr old Mom came in to get her routine eye exam where they didn’t find anything wrong with her eyes they came up with an excuse saying she has Dry Eye and recommended surgery and then they put plugs in her eye ducts causing her eyes to constantly water profusely when nothing was wrong with her eyes before and they didn’t even tell her and she didn’t want them to do anyt... read more
Dr Abrams is great. Have been a patient a long time and he takes excellent care or my eyes. My cataract surgery was a complete success and I highly recommend him.
