While the stylist was running hours behind, (one hour late for my appointment three hours late for the person before me), I think the thing that made me walk away from the consultation was when the stylist proceeded to tend to the first client without initially acknowledging my appointment. After this experience, I decided to take my business to another salon.
Taz is amazing she always does my hair when I fly in from Cali!
I've been coming here for over a year and I love it. They do very thorough washes and conditioning and my hair has been so healthy since they've been taking care of me. Taz does my natural styles (bantu knots, two-strand twists) and my pressed styles (pin curls or whatever else) and she trims nicely. She and Patrick always make sure I'm straight. I also get a student discount and they always have candy there :)
We are English tourists and I was at the Wellington Hair Spa on wednesday waiting while my Fiancee had her hair done. Whilst I was waiting the staff Patrick included kept asking me if I was ok or needed anything, the receptionist let me sit in one of the vacant hairdressing chairs so I was more comfortable and asked me if I wanted anything from the shop. Patrick turned the TV over for me to watch the football, they were all very good and made me feel very comfortable and on top of that he did a good job on my Mrs hair.
Patrick Wellington helps me with my haircuts and he is wonderful :)I have been circulating NYC stylists for quite some time and finally my hair can rest. I love working with him as he clearly explains what needs to happen to keep my hair healthy and looking its best.I have now seen him twice...
Mr. Wellington has been cutting my hair for longer than I can remember and its as though he has this amazing telekinesis when it comes to understanding exactly what I want. The best part is that he can take an ugly duckling and turn it into a swan all with his mighty scissors. I leave refreshed, relaxed and a helluva lot better looking than when I walked in.
