User review by klo18 – I love rain! The classes are great. With so much variety I never dread going to the gym, I'm loving Mark's boxing class, and Jonathan's Hip-Hop on Wednesdays. Staff is friendly and the machines are high quality and always working. I've belonged to 4 gyms in the area and Rain is by far the best!
so fresh and so clean – Dare I say I love rain. I can't believe how clean the place is. There is nothing better than going to the gym and feeling like it is as clean as my home. Thanks guys for keeping it clean and fresh!
Great Staff – Rain has the best staff of any gym I have attended, they are always friendly and informative. I never had any problems when it came to signing up for a membership or looking around the facility. The equiptment is top of the line and the view and natural lighting are the best features of this gym. The classes are challenging and engaging. The class instructors have built up a following over the years and new classes are introduced every 6 weeks which keeps it interesting for the regular exerciser.
Come back when we have time for you – I went in to check this place out-- and was told I'd have to make an appointment with the owner if I wanted to even see the inside of the place! What's up with that?!
User review by pgcarlson – Tried to check this place out, but "only the owner can show you around" and he wasn't there. There are too many gyms in Seattle to put up with this kind of crappy service-- before they even get your money!
Best Gym in Seattle – I've been a member of Rain for about 8 months now, and I have loved every minute of it, and have actually made use of my membership. I've been a member of other gyms in the past and have typically found myself to tire of the classes, or tire of the lines waiting for equipment. Neither has happened here. The staff is wonderful, the classes are great, and the facility overall if fabulous!
great gym – I have been a member of almost every gym in Seattle, and I have to say hands-down Rain is my favorite. After touring many other facilities and enduring hours of sales pitches I ventured into Rain and was pleasantly surprised with the sincerity of the staff and owner. Classic Gym Meets 21st Century – I study Pilates at Pilates Powerhouse Northwest which recently moved into the Rain facilities. After two weeks of walking through the Rain facilities to get to my Pilates classes I joined Rain. Even before I was a Rain member I always felt welcomed by the staff when I walked in the front door. my husband and i just moved here from los angeles. rain is such a refreshing change from showy, cheesy gyms down there. the staff is super friendly, there has not been one single time when i have not been greeted warmly upon walking it. its a gorgeous facility, with stellar, sparkly equipment. its in a loft-like setting, with beautiful hardwood floors. definitely the coolest space around, with expansive views of the sound from all the cardio equipment. overall, a perfect gym where everyone is welcomed. super clean, and again... read more
