I believe pest control is a major issue. I saw insects stuck to the window screens in the room, and they can get in through any small opening. Some of them looked like bed bugs, but it’s possible for all kinds of insects to come inside. It is old and has a bad odor. Between the two entrance doors, you may occasionally see homeless people sleeping there. and there is a school and a generator nearby that prevent you from opening the windows.
OCTOBER 2025 UPDATE There have been more than 20+ instances of water shutdown just this year!! Anyone looking to rent vacant units here be aware this not a healthy living situation for a slew of reasons. The company continues to use a toxic cheap floor varnish for the "new" apartments you will be moving into. Tenants are given no notice of this awful practice - there is zero consideration for health or safety. Toronto building bylaws are violated regularly. Spoke on the phone with the leasing agent for this building, I wanted to book an appointment for a viewing. She was really rude, spoke over me and then hung up the phone before I could ask more questions. Strange
