RecommendedGreat Eats! We had the Pork French Fries - even better than they sound. Juicy, messy hamburgers. And spicy fried shrimp po-boy. And purple cabbage slaw. And the bartender makes incredible drinks. We took a piece of the pecan, chocolate and salted caramel pie home with us. An amazing mix of flavors! But Someone please tell Brandon that I still think my grandmother’s pecan pie is better, if only by a little bit. The Garfield neighborhood is lucky to have the Welcome Diner so close.

Fantastic staff, AMAZING FOOD! Best fried green tomatoes pairing of flavors that you’ll ever have! Well worth the 40 minute drive for us every time. Great late hours. Overall phenomenal!

Nice unexpected find. We stumbled in and had a great brunch. We are not easy but enjoyed their slightly different take on standard brunch dishes. We plan to return to enjoy the patio and their dinner menu.
I just had to go back to this little gem! To my surprise, they were no longer in the little Airstream, but in a whole new building! Such a great place for some clever comfort food, crafty cocktails, and dessert that will make you slap yo mama! Salted bourbon chocolate pecan pie topped with a vanilla bean mascarpone. 😱
