In the five cities area, Dr. Da Silvas office has had the best support and friendly staff. They usually refer quickly and follow-up. However, I was recently in an auto accident. I went to the ER and later to Urgent care which all told me to follow-up with my primary physician. However, when i tried to follow up with her, they refused to see me. This is a terrible office. They are too busy to offer anything resembling personalized care, cant get messages straight, dont call you back with test or x-ray results unless you hound them. After three years neither my husband nor I have even caught a glimpse of Dr. Da Silva. I am in the process of finding another doctor.
I recently started coming to Pismo Family Practice after I was assigned here by my insurance, and I am very happy. Ive been seeing one of the Physicians Assistants, Cindy, and she is very thorough, very knowlegable, and very helpful. She put me on a medication to control a chronic issue and described to me all the alternatives, possible side affects, etc. and answered all my questions. Doctor Weiss is a blessing in our life. She is such a wonderful person and we feel so safe and so taken care of by her.
