I had a visit with Dr Yao in which he diagnosed me with Carpal Tunnel, did a Nerve Conduction Study on my hands up to my elbow but nothing more then that, sent me home with hand/arm braces and to occupational therapy in which the therapist told me my problem was in my neck and shoulders and why didn't the doctor test me beyond my elbows... I have MS that runs in my family and mentioned it to Dr Yao which he shrugged it off and also the chance I might have EDS which again got shrugged off with no sign of a MRI. The best neurologist ever! I used to go to him before I moved to NY 12 years ago. He helped me so much because of him I was able to get my seizures under control taking a lower dose of a newer medication and be able to drive. I’ve been taking this medication for 17 years seizure free. He helped me become independent and I will be forever grateful.

He was the best doctor! Unfortunately I moved and the neurologist I have now is not that great. Everything about the office was great and the doctor explained things to me. Office staff was wonderful as well.
Waited 5 months. Was given no diagnosis, no directions, no suggestions for care., yet received a prescription. I tried asking questions because I realized my appointment was about to end. I was simply ignored. I feel bad even posting this as it is not in my nature to post negative reviews. But I am disappointed and feel defeated.
