I first saw Dr. Weintraub for carpal tunnel in my right wrist. When we met, I explained my history of arthritis and I asked abo the correction I could expect in deadened feeling. He made assurances of restoration of feeling. That turned out to be a gross exaggeration. "Be patient," he said. We discussed other joint surgeries, and he identified me as an excellent long-term income for himself. I then mistakenly had right hip replacement and it remained painful post-op @5 years. HE IS ARROGANT
Dr. Weintraub performed two surgeries for me over the course of about 30 years. The first was a torn meniscus repair and the second was a shoulder repair following an injury involving a torn labrum, a complete tear of the supraspinatus tendon, and a severed biceps tendon. In each case he did an excellent job with outstanding results. I regained full function with no pain. Additionally, Dr. Weintraub is a truly nice guy who explains everything thoroughly and professionally.
Absolutely the most accomplished, most caring, most adept orthopedic surgeon one could hope for. The superior outcome of four joint replacements over last 13 years is all the proof necessary!
Dr. Weintraub replaced my left hip in 11/2016. I came to him with reoccurring knee pain and he suggested doing a hip xray that is when we found out that my hip was in such bad shape and needed repair.He is wonderfull ,listens to your concerns, suggests treatments but does not push you into a surgery. If you ever need orthopedic surgery I would advise contacting him.
I didn't want to give any stars as I wouldn't let Dr. Weintraub clip a hangnail. Due to his horrible post op care, I had to have corrective surgery. I wrote a letter to him regarding this and he just pushed it to his insurance company. I got screwed out of a lot of money and he never apologized.
He is the BEST. He treated my Mother, my Aunt and me and he is such a nice person as well. My Mother loved him. He was so great to all of us. MARY Franklin
He has replaced both knees and I am very pleased with the results.
