The billing manager, Stephanie, was rude, nasty and incompetent. She refused to continue allowing the doctor to treat me unless I paid them $800 for my serum, which was fully covered by my insurance. She offered little to no explanation as to why she claimed I owed $800; my insurance company wasn't even sure where that amount came from. She was rude, unnecessarily aggressive, and is obviously inexperienced as I kept telling her my insurance fully covered the serum, but she just kept telling me I'm responsible to pay that amo... read more
A great resource that I discovered while in Florida for the winter. Imagine finding a Hopkins trained allergist /immunologist in a small coastal town...e.g. Vero Beach. As an allergist he is also an asthma expert as 80% of asthma is allergic asthma....another disease state in which Dr. Wein is an acknowledged expert. Office runs like a well oiled machine( so rare ) and Wein has an excellent bedside manner demonstrating interest, patience and thoroughness !

I had seen four doctors for ongoing sinus issues with no resolution. My primary doctor referred me to Dr. Wein a year ago because he specializes in sinus issues and immune disorders. Dr. Wein immediately zeroed in on my problem and started an ongoing treatment that has been quite successful. What I really appreciate and enjoy about going to his office is the respect, concern, and friendliness that starts at the top with the doctor and flows down through the nursing staff, assistants, and receptionist. The allergy shots have changed my life. Before I was on constant medication and was miserable at high pollen times. Now I don't need any medication and live allergy free. Staff is always polite and professional and you get in and out of visits quickly.
I have been to several doctors and hospitals over several years seeking help for my asthma, and not once did I find a doctor as thorough, informative, and kind as Dr. Wein. In 30 minutes (none of which felt rushed), Dr. Wein was able to discuss treatment, determine my allergies, and set up an asthma management plan. I am so incredibly grateful to have found this doctor, and am relieved to finally feel like I will be able to live normally again. I would recommend him to anybody.
