After the multiple murders and shooting in 2024 I was told I could break my lease a month early over the phone. After settling everything and moving out, Alpine sent debt collectors after me for the remainder of my lease. Worst rental agency i've ever worked with. slow to respond to work order requests, hold outdated appliances and amenities. petty move out policies. and their account specialists don't answer the phone when you call to ask about them.
Weidner is a manipulative and greedy company that selectively follows fair housing, often bending the rules and making exceptions for some residents just to turn around and deny another resident the same exception. Maintenance is incredibly slow and half asses their jobs, or just don’t respond to work orders at all even if the work order is actively damaging your property. Absolute slumlords. I don’t usually write scathing reviews, but this company is the worst. Dilapidated infrastructure, disgusting issues, and just no care whatsoever. They will also nickel and dime you. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. BEING HOMELESS IS LESS RISKIER.
