Let’s talk about REAL customer service. Had a new roof put on by Mike Katon and his crew at Wegner Roofing and Solar back in October. Fast forward to recently: a leak pops up through the exhaust fan in our master bath. Most companies would ghost you or make excuses—NOT these guys. I reached out to Mike on a Saturday. By Sunday? He hits me back personally. Monday morning, a three-man crew is at my door and they find a vent defect and knock it out in under an hour. This is how business should be done. I will be happy to refer Wegner’s to all of my friends and family. Rob Hosier and the Des Moines team was superb - from the sales team and project manager, to the install team. We replaced our siding, gutters, basement door, corrected a decade long roofing problem no one else could fix, and added attic vents. They were in constant communication throughout the process. We had a Wegner salesman give us his sales pitch late this spring. He was pressuring us to close the deal. He was dishonest and conveniently didn’t mention we only had 3 days to cancel the order. We tried for a month to get out of this contract but the company wouldn’t let us. Now they are charging us $5122.00 for “administrative fees”. The salesman’s name was Coleton Baker.
