RecommendedGreat place to shop. My family and I shop there all the time. Staff there go out of their way to help the customers. Keiren, from produce is a doll for helping me get the veggies I need for my thanksgiving dinner. The deli managerJeff is a very nice guy. I am very particular about how I like my cold cuts sliced and he sliced them perfectly. I also found the perfect organic turkey for my family thanksgiving dinner, as well as the perfect ham for my family. Chase, one of the managers, is also very helpful and a good guy.
I bought Wegmans brand of light mayonnaise because it was the only light mayonnaise on the shelf. No taste at all. Just awful. Wegmans is pushing their own brand of many items and wegmans Teriyaki Sauce is not as good as Lowrys. Wegmans brand is always there but not the name brands we like.
Since the pandemic my family has been making trips every two weeks for grocery runs. My experience with Wegmans KoP during my last few trips has been pretty awful with what I call shopping with the “professional shoppers”. The professional shoppers are EVERYWHERE in the store and completely disregard both COVID protocols and general politeness. Been shopping at Wegmans most of my life (30+ years of shopping at Wegmans) and have been very happy until lately. They were slow to adopt COVID-19 prevention protocols. And, now, with some in place, they are still lacking enough for me not to feel safe. As per the protocols from the state, I would expect a special shopping time for those who are at higher risk - that hasn’t happened. I was in the King of Prussia, PA store on Sunday, 4/12. It is concerning to me that Wegmans is not requiring all customers and employees to be wearing masks at all times during COVID-19. This is a safety policy that should be put into effect immediately. The young woman who rang me up in the checkout was wearing gloves and had no mask. Her mask protects me and my mask protects her. There should be no employee of Wegmans and not customer of Wegmans allowed in any of their stores without wearing masks.
My brother in law was purchasing beer and they asked for his ID which is standard. What was not standard was asking me for my ID. I had nothing to do with it. I didn't drive and didn't have ID. I'm almost 40 with gray hair. It was a transaction that had nothing to do with me. If I had known that I had to stay in the car, I would have like a little child. Manager was very rude and didn't let him purchase. I didn't know speaking to people in line was prohibited. I will never shop here again.
