Everyone on the staff was professional, polite, efficient and knowledgeable of their function and role within the Dental practice. It was a pleasant experience and I am confident that I that I will receive excellent dental care at Tarpon Shores Dental.
Well, this is my first visit there. It got off to a rocky start. I had a 10 o’clock appointment and a couple days prior they called and asked if I could come in at 9:30 I said yes. To make a long story short I got there at 9:20 and was not called back until almost 10:10. I inquired about that and they said that had some emergencies. I can certainly understand that, but they should’ve communicated that to me while I was waiting. After that things went smoothly, this first visit was a consult and Dr. Rivera was very thorough.
On the bright side, my hygienist on Friday was the most thorough thoughtful hygienist I’ve ever had. Explaining everything he was doing was gonna do and checking on me to make sure I was OK. However, I only got the right side of my mouth cleaned because, as I was told, “ Insurance will only cover two quadrants per session”. Never in my life have I gone in for a cleaning and only had half my mouth cleaned! And your scheduling is so full I can’t even get an appointment to clean the other side.
