Judi the owner is dismissing, and has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. She also treats her staff as if they are imbeciles in front of clients. I would never recommend this place, unless it changes ownership. Everyone deserves better than this when shopping for a special day!
I went on a Sunday, so I was the only bride there. I received great customer service, yet I could have used more help in the dressing room getting the dresses on. I found my dress here, but ended up ordering somewhere else because they had no accessories for me to try on with the dress. They were the only shop in the bay area with the sample of my dress, but there is another style that is the exact same cut, just with no accents on it like mine. Im surprised by all the bad reviews honestly. I went here, the two ladies working were with someone and within five minutes one was at my aid and I had no appointment. Now, Im a size zero and they really helped me. They promised me cheap alterations and fast ones (my weddings in a month) I dont think anyone really is happy to see a size zero walk in considering the max dresses a store carries in a size zero is one if Im lucky. VERY DISPLEASED..to start off the directions i printed off the internet from their website were wrong and sent me to the other side of McHenry. I had an appointment and had never been there before. I was greeted but was not serviced at all with the exception of the" final zip up" probably not to ruin the zipper on the dress i assume. I usually dont complain about places, and never have I made a comment before - but this place was terrible. I went there for my bridesmaid dresses and the lady taking down the orders was very rude. They had very limited sizes to try on - in the particular designer I wanted - they had a 6, and then an 18, but nothing in between! They rarely pick up their phones, and when they do, the person you need to speak to is not available, and they say she will call you back, but she doesnt. What a joke.
My experience at Wedding Center was horrible! The old fat lady that takes the order or whatever is RUDE and very unhelpful. I do not recommend going there. It was a waste of my time, and it will be yours too.
