The HERS rater who visited the job site did not file the report and check important information. The report was written and signed by someone who never visited the site with several points of technical information incorrect. After a phone call, we were contacted immediately by management, who apologized and who sent out another technician. It is not clear if the contractor or the HERS rate provided the incorrect data. The HERS rater who visited the job site did not file the report and check important information. The report was written and signed by someone who never visited the site with several points of technical information incorrect. We reported the company the California Department of Energy. The whole idea of a HERS rater is to check the work of the contractor instead it appears the company just made up information which was incorrect.
