About this business

Supper Club History Situated at the corner of 15th and Wazee Streets surrounded by brick and stone reminders of Denver's colorful past; the Wazee Supper Club has long been an inevitable destination for social gatherers. Founding fathers Angelo and Jim Karagas ventured forth from their native Detroit and in 1969 opened their first Denver enterprise, My Brother's Bar. The next acquisition in 1974 was a 1910 structure originally housing a plumbing supply house that became the current Wazee. Since then, the Wazee Supper Club, wi... read more

best service – While the food is awesome...I prefer the service from the guy that names himself "Q." He's a badass bartender I must say. Go see him...ask for him...and if he's not there...the rest will treat you well. Awesome place...overall!!!!!!

Average at best – The only reason this place is able to survive is because of its location, and that its in Denver. The Denver restaurant scene makes sub-par places like this able to stay in business.

Best food in Denver – Literally the BEST sandwich I've eaten in my entire life. I live in Boulder, and don't really like to venture outside of that 5 square miles, but I make trips to Denver just to eat at Wazee and recommend it to everyone.

Great pizza and ambiance! – I happened upon Wazee Supper Club because of the location...it's just down the street from the Grand Salon. The staff is friendly and I have been seated quickly. The pizza is exceptional and the ambiance is worth the visit. They serve other items besides pizza, but I haven't been able to force myself to order anything else...the pizza is that good! Always a pleasant experience.

Pizza rates just below frozen – Not a fan of the pizza at WSC. The crust is thick and gooey. It just seems cheap and pre-made. Not for real pizza lovers... more for folks who are into compromise.

My favorite pizza place. – A friend introduced me to Wazee years ago. I had tried several items on the menu before I finally tried the pizza. I was ashamed I waited so long. The crust is crispy, yet soft and chewy, not tough, and not soggy. Great selection of toppings, and all very good too. There is usally a long wait before and after avs or nuggets games, but the staff has always been friendly and its easy to grab a drink at the bar while you wait. I recently moved to Seattle and am constantly in search of a place I like a... read more

Good Pizza! – We got a coupon for a free pizza at Wazee supper club from a book store and gave it a try....so glad we did. It's great pizza with lots of choices for toppings...not the same boring pepperoni and sausage (although they do have those.) Their pizza is great tasting and not greasy like chain pizza joints. I would recommend this place. We get our pizza to go a lot, but the times we've eaten there the wait staff has always been cool.

The perfect place for hangin' with friends and feasting on some of the best pizza in town. – In Short From the black-and-white tile floor to the '30s art deco-style bar, the Supper Club is hip and retro. The bar was salvaged from the American Hotel before it was demolished, and the benches came from the Denver Elks Club before it moved. The specialty here is thin New York-style pizza with lots of sauce and cheese, heaping with toppings. There are also sandwiches, thick onion rings and french fries, as well as 17 draft beers.
